Landscape Maintenance
Your landscape works hard for you every single day. It shapes first impressions, adds real value to your property, and tells visitors something about how you run your home or business. Top Notch Tennessee Outdoor Services handles the ongoing upkeep that keeps those outdoor spaces sharp season after season, from freshly trimmed hedges to clean, weed-free beds. We serve residential and commercial properties throughout Murfreesboro and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area.
What gets overlooked and why it matters
Even a well-designed landscape loses its appeal fast without consistent attention. Overgrown shrubs, weedy beds, and bare soil around plant roots are the most common complaints we hear from property owners who've gone too long without professional upkeep. These aren't just cosmetic issues. Weeds compete with your plants for water and nutrients. Compacted, exposed soil stresses root systems. Unruly hedges lose their shape and become harder to correct the longer they go untrimmed.
Routine maintenance prevents small problems from becoming expensive ones. It also keeps your property looking intentional and cared-for at all times, which matters whether you're welcoming customers or just pulling into your own driveway after work.
Our landscape maintenance services
Shrub, Bush & Ornamental Tree Trimming
Precision trimming is about more than appearance. Our team shapes your ornamental shrubs, hedges, and small trees according to their natural growth habits, encouraging healthy branching while maintaining clean, architectural lines. We work carefully to avoid over-cutting, a common mistake that stresses plants and slows recovery. The result is landscape beds that look polished and well-managed throughout every season.
Mulch Installation & Ground Cover
A fresh layer of mulch does real work beneath the surface. Top Notch Tennessee delivers and installs premium mulch and decorative stone for landscape beds across Murfreesboro and Middle Tennessee. Proper mulching locks moisture into the soil, insulates root systems from the region's summer heat, and creates a natural barrier that slows weed germination. It also gives your beds a clean, finished look that ties the whole property together.
Weed Control & Bed Cleanup
Weeds are persistent, and hand-pulling alone rarely keeps them in check for long. Our bed maintenance approach combines thorough manual removal with targeted pre-emergent and post-emergent treatments applied where appropriate. The goal is to stay ahead of invasive growth before it has a chance to crowd out your plants or spread into your lawn. Whether you manage a residential backyard or a commercial storefront, clean, weed-free beds send a clear message that your property is well cared for.
Ongoing Residential & Commercial Upkeep
Consistent maintenance is what separates a landscape that looks great occasionally from one that looks great all the time. Top Notch Tennessee builds upkeep plans around your property's specific needs, not a one-size-fits-all schedule. Homeowners who want their weekends back and business owners who need a professional exterior to welcome customers can count on us to show up when scheduled, treat the property with respect, and finish the job thoroughly every time.
The Top Notch difference: reliability you can count on
Plenty of lawn and landscape companies will tell you they do good work. What sets Top Notch Tennessee apart is the consistency that neighbors and business owners across Murfreesboro keep coming back for. Customers regularly mention Zach and his team by name, not just for the quality of the work, but for the communication, the punctuality, and the willingness to go beyond what was asked.
Here's what that looks like in practice:
We show up when we say we will. No ghosting, no last-minute rescheduling without notice.
We respect your property. Clean work means leaving the job site looking better than we found it, not just completing the task.
We communicate clearly. If something needs attention beyond the original scope, we'll let you know before we act.
We go above and beyond. Customers frequently tell us we handled things they didn't even ask about, because we noticed and took care of it.
That kind of accountability is rare in this industry, and it's the standard we hold ourselves to on every property we maintain.
